I started writing this song as I walked in the August heat and humidity to my car. Summer is not my favorite season, particularly because I don’t like the stuffiness of heat or the feeling of sweat. While the song is mostly in Japanese, I did sprinkle in a few English words, which is a common characteristic of the style of music. The verse lyrics describe a static nature to the days, the repetition and parallels showing how tedious the wait for cooler weather can be, but even in the discomfort, the singer finds joy in going to the beach. The rhythmic feeling is playful to emphasize that not all hope is lost for relief from Summer heat.
